Course Overview and Objectives

This course is designed to be an intensive one day training session providing the basics of internal auditing planning, execution and reporting and covering all essential elements.

Internal audits are an essential part of any organisation’s Continual Improvement process. The course includes some practical assessments based on documented evidence.

• Understanding planning of audit schedules
• Planning of Audits.
• Definition of Scope and Criteria of assessment
• Create Audit Checklists as aide memoire
• Interview auditees. Use open interviewing techniques
• Conduct audits and record objective evidence
• Audit Reporting including Audit Findings and Severity
• Investigation and root cause determination
• Understanding Remedial, Corrective and Preventive Actions
